Endure Batavia Triathlon signs up major sponsors
The Mid West’s premier triathlon event, the Endure Batavia Triathlon is set to be bigger and better in 2014 with Market Creations and the Geraldton Data Centre signing up as dual partners for the forthcoming event.
Announcing the joint sponsorship arrangement, the Geraldton Triathlon Club president, Simon Teakle, said he was delighted that Market Creations and the Geraldton Data Centre had agreed to again team up with the Endure Batavia Triathlon to deliver yet another first-class sporting event for the region.
“This is a significant partnership for the event and reflects its growth at both a regional and state level,” he said.
“The affiliation with such prominent Mid West businesses underpins the growing significance of the Endure Batavia Triathlon in becoming a major race on the state’s triathlon calendar.”
An initiative of the Geraldton Triathlon Club, the annual Endure Batavia Triathlon attracts competitors from all around the state to compete in a 1.5km swim, 44km bike ride and a 10km run.
Darren Lee, Managing Director of Market Creations and the Geraldton Data Centre said they were excited to be partnering with the event as it continues to build on participation and reputation year after year.
“The Endure Batavia Triathlon is a tremendous event, not just for the sport of triathlon but for the prosperity of the Mid West,” he said.
